Can you believe that it’s already March? I can’t!! My school has an early Spring Break. It is always the first 2 weeks of March. Scary times because it’s cold in most places still! On my final spring break as a high school student, I decided to go to Orlando and embrace my inner child!! I took my friend Kate with me to Orlando, so here’s to day 1 (post-travel)! We started by going to Universal Studios!
Top – Love is Apparel | Dungarees – Vintage (similar) | Shoes – Converse | Sunglasses – Ray-Ban
In addition to the happiest place on earth, Orlando is also home to the world of my dreams. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Both Kate and I are big fans of the book series so when we went to Islands of Adventures, we made sure to go by the section. The last time I was in Orlando, only half of the area was created, but now the expansion is amazing.
When Kate and I walked into Diagon Alley, we both died because of how amazing it was. The segments large enough that you can easily spend your entire day (and savings account) there, but we did manage to walk around the different parts of the park. In the first picture, we were channeling a bit of Grey’s Anatomy and our inner super-heroines, because why not!? Universal is fabulous and the perfect place to spend a day or two without getting bored!!
Tip: If you’re going in the late spring, summer times, bring an extra pair of shoes and do the water rides early. We rode the Popeye ride first and it was great. I was cool for the remainder of the day. The only kicker being that I had water in my converse all day!
This is just day one of my Spring Break series. I hope you all continue to read, it really was a fabulous trip and there’s a lot more to see from me and Orlando!!
