When I love to travel, I need to rest…you all have NO idea how much running around I do on a normal trip, but I wanted to take a break on this last trip. Not only was this past trip earlier this March my Spring Break, but at the same time, I spent the beginning of my week inundated in photos and models at Paris Fashion Week. By the time I got to London, your girl was pooped and needed a rest, so I was so happy to check-in to the Amba Hotel in Charing Cross and take a night all to myself!
Looking back, I wish I had had more time at this hotel! I had a great time and can we take a moment and appreciate the architecture? The humongous staircase right through the center of the hotel had the wannabe architect in me drooling. Plus the purple vibe throughout the entire hotel was beautiful! The interior designers of the hotel beautifully orchestrated everything from the stairs, the flooring, down to the details of the room. I was so happy to get into my warm cozy room!
In this staycation type stay, I was happy to have the bed. It was SO SOFT! I was so happy to climb in and just sleep, but I had to get some work done. Getting a little rest has really helped me get back into blogging because trust me, I have been worn out. When you’re worn down from school, working, driving, and so much more, it’s so nice to just take a rest.
As my new location for a staycation, I was happy to order in from their fabulous restaurant, which opens up during the day as a bar and restaurant, with a gorgeous terrace area. Having a Nespresso machine at the ready was so helpful when I felt sluggish at the end of the day. Within 2 minutes, I had a nice shot of espresso waiting for me! If you worry about food and drink at a hotel, this hotel assuaged any worry that I had. For dinner, I ordered in the pasta with a salad. I filled my belly and enjoyed an amazing meal in bed to match!
Truly, I had such an amazing time at this hotel. Trust me, not only was it a great place to be, but the location was amazing. Sadly, the closest Charing Cross Tube station closed for repairs. But, you can find 2 other stations within a 5-minute walk from the front of the hotel. Luckily, the Charing Cross Rail Station is steps from the hotel.
Whether you’re a tourist or a businesswoman, the Amba Hotel in Charing Cross is not too far from every other location and major attraction in London. The Strand has so much food and so many sights to see. So, you have no worries if you ever need things to do! I know I went shopping a bunch, but had to tell myself to hold off sometimes!
This hotel is not the only Amba hotel in London. They have locations across the city, specifically in Charing Cross and Marble Arch. As a 4 star hotel, everything is at the touch of a button. The hotel provides a tablet that can meet all of your needs with a quick touch! I never worried about not having any of my needs. The staff was so welcoming and loving during my entire stay. I kinda fell in love with this hotel and I think you will too!
