So I’m not the best about keeping my skin clear and healthy, but this year, it’s one of my major goals to keep my skin looking nice and beautiful!! I’ve got a big wishlist of things that I’m looking for and above, you can see some of the items that I hope to use to keep my skin clear!
Row 1: Face Wash // Body Wash // Lotion // Elemis Freshskin Skin Glow Exfoliating Face Wash // Brush
Row 2: Elemis Spa Home Skin Nourishing Milk Body Wash // Australian Bodycare Cleansing Face Mask // Elemis Devil’s Mint Body Scrub // Australian Bodycare Anytime Balm // Australian Bodycare Hygenic Wipes // Body Scrub
I don’t have problems with acne (high fiving my genes for their good graces). I do have problems with things like sun spots and keeping my skin soft and not oily. The majority of the items in this wishlist are for my face, with the occasional scrub, brush or lotion tossed in. Last spring, I did a really good job of keeping my face clear and soft with some Aveda products that I bought to reduce some spots on my face. Unfortunately, as the weather got colder, I got lazier!! You’re supposed to keep your face hydrated in the winter. Silly me didn’t do that, so I have a lot of ground to make up on. The face washes mentioned above will keep my face hydrated while keeping it clean, so a good deep cleansing face wash is on my list.
The two body washes mentioned are not body washes that are simply for cleaning. They are also for softening the skin. The one on the second row is infused with milk. I know that on a night when I need a soak, a hydrating bubble bath or soak like these two will be a welcome treat for me and my skin!!
After a good bath, who doesn’t love a good lotion?! Lotion is fabulous especially if its in a small size that I can carry around with me all day. I like lotions that smell fresh with nothing nasty added that makes the smell overpowering! The one above is similar to the one I use right now. I may invest in a new bottle soon.
I haven’t used a cleaning brush like the one above in ages. The one above, the Magnitone Lucid, is one that I’ve heard nothing but good about. The old brush I used was incredibly harsh on my skin so I stopped using it. From what I’ve heard and seen, the Lucid brush is soft. The bristles do their job without making your skin sensitive and susceptible to damage!
So balm and wiper also on my list because they are both easy small things that I can carry in my purse or backpack and have with me to clean my face during the middle of the day!! These two items are routine. I already carry some with me now, so they’re on my wishlist in order to remind me to buy MORE!!!
The final thing is a body scrub. I’ve been seeing these so much on my Instagram and Twitter feeds lately. I think it’s time I try one. On my bum, I have stretch marks that are unseemly at times. I’m looking for something to help reduce their presence a bit before this summer. I’ve got lots of bikinis and things planned for the summer. It’s only right that my skin looks beautiful and healthy while I’m baring some serious skin in the swimsuits!!
Well this is my wishlist, please feel free to let me know yours in the comments below, I’d love to know what you all have on you wishlists for this spring!! x
