A few weeks ago, you may remember that I hosted a meetup for the Black Bloggers United Atlanta chapter! It was one of the more recent vlogs that I posted, and if not, you can watch it here! Anyways, I wanted to show you the outfit I wore to the meetup and afterwards. Want to know the best part? This entire look is from ASOS, mostly pieces I found in one of their epic sales! Additionally, shadows. A true joy to play with in photography.

ASOS is (and will probably always will be) one of my favourite online brands. There’s such a wide variety of clothing on the website, that I can literally find something for every occasion. I actually contemplated buying my prom dress from there, even though I got the real dress in a boutique in Atlanta in the end.
This look is one that I took a lot of time putting together, and even though the heels may be high, it still is a look that I love. This is my beginning into the summer to fall transition, especially since the suede button front skirt almost gives the entire look a bit of a throwback.
This shoot was done at the end of the day. With the waning sun, providing lots of light, but also plenty of shadows for us to play with. Shadows are aplenty at the end of the day in downtown Atlanta and with this look, the shadows almost make it more effortless than without shadows. I loved having the light hit my face in different ways and how it all played out in the end.
All photography was done in conjunction with Kaye of 7th Street Studio. You should show some love on my Bloglovin page!
