Welcome to 2018 people! Okay, I know I’m about a month late, but this is my way of saying welcome to the new year! This year is incredibly exciting for me because I’m rebranding this new blog and I finally get to share it with you all. 
I’ve been thinking about this rebrand for months, if not longer. I’m excited to finally share my new blog with you all! I didn’t build a lot of suspense with this reveal, sorry, not sorry! Figuring out what I wanted to do with the blog has been a struggle, which took longer than expected. All of my friends know I’ve been picking my brain trying to find a new name for months. At the same time, I wanted to make sure my theme was perfect, which it is now! I even decided that I want to change my Instagram aesthetic, so lots of changes. In the end, I decided I need a fresh start for myself and the blog. The best way I know how to be myself is to share me. So welcome to the new year, new me, a real me:

Every time I go to fashion month, people would ask, “Where did you get the name The Hat Logic?”. For over two years, it worked so well. Partly because I didn’t know how to do my hair, so I conceded to wearing hats all day long. The hats were a way to hide my face and feelings from everyone, but I did love my little accessory. Don’t worry, they aren’t going anywhere, but they’re going to be taking a significant step back across the board. This blog will have more content that will hit hard and be more relatable compared to the past.
I want to take a minute and walk you all through the new site! I’ve got a brand new layout from the amazing Kotryna Bass Designs, with a few custom edits! Her team are absolute rockstars and really helped me! Thir help was so necessary after my hosting caused some issues and we had to start over from scratch! There’s a shop page where you all can shop things that I’ve just bought, similar pieces to what I have worn, or just things that I’m lusting after! I’ve been dying to add a shop page to the blog for a while now, so now it’s a reality! The page is already up and ready to go, so take a look and see if you can spot some things popping up on my Instagram over the next few weeks!
I’ve gone ahead and updated most of my pages, from the About, Contact, Press, and FAQ pages, so you’ve got a bunch of new information about me, what I like, things I hate, etc! I’m working on a GIANT archive page, so you’ll be able to search through all of my posts all at once, but that will take me a while! Once it’s up and live, you’ll be able to see each post from the past 5 years (I know…it will be a whirlwind of 5 years in September), separated by year & month!
What’s Staying the Same?
Now let me talk about the content changes! I’m still going to be on my Youtube beat, still going to have the newsletter (which is getting a facelift & you can sign up for here), but I’m changing what I’m writing about. I want to still do the occasional sponsored post, but do better work. I wasn’t proud of some of my collaborations at the end of the year, so I make 2018 my own. When I work on sponsored content, I want to tell my story and share it with you all. I’ve become inspired by so many of the amazing content creators that this world offers, but I also want to share some of the love and tell you all who they are! I’m going to be launching some new series’ this year, so stay tuned for more!
Thank you all for the love over the last 5 years!! I’m so excited to take everyone on this journey with me and make more memories. Here’s to the next 5 years and way beyond! I’m excited to create content that will make everyone proud!
