Coordinating sets, co-ords, matching, etc. A few days ago, I was speaking with a friend about our different styles, and she mentioned my love for coordinating sets. For about a year now, I’ve been dipping in & out of matching sets, alternating tops & bottoms with various other pieces. They’ve become an essential part of my wardrobe, especially while traveling.
I have three favourite shops that I buy matching sets from: Zara, ASOS, & Missguided. All high street, but decent quality. Their sets change depending on the season, but I love when I can find a great one that I can wear when it’s cold in the fall, but also in the spring when it’s a bit warmer. I bought a checked matching set from Zara last season, which has become n integral part of my wardrobe. In this post, I’m wearing a set from ASOS, which also comes in a stroppy dress in matching material. While I loved the dress, it wasn’t my style and I know that I wouldn’t get much use out of it, but this matching skirt/top combo was right up my alley. This set is a real stunner and has become a true summer essential even after a few weeks.

As someone who travels on a budget, I constantly fly with my mini suitcase from Primark. I have to pack multiple days of clothes as succinctly as possible, which is where these sets come in handy. One set, just like this one, could easily be used in three separate outfits if mixed with different pieces, which makes it perfect for my travels.
I’m looking forward to buying additional sets in the future because they are perfect for me. My style is simple and easy, laid back and chill. Coordinating sets are works of art that meet all of my needs, plus they’re almost always comfortable! Do you have a favourite piece of clothing?
