Browfection with Her Campus & European Wax Center

So do you remember how I got the chance to go to London Fashion Week? Well, I got to do something similar a few months later, but a bit closer to home! Every year since 2012, Her Campus has put on a College Fashion Week, and this year, they brought it to Atlanta, where I got to attend!

This year’s show was located at the Hilton Atlanta in Downtown, and the ballroom was actually a great location for a show! There were a lot of vendors at the show, but the big European Wax Center setup caught my eye!!  When I went to that station, I was immediately welcomed by the lovely ladies who helped fix up my brows! It’s been a while since I got them waxed or threaded, but they managed to whip them back into shape in a matter of minutes! They didn’t wax my brows, but simply filled them in with powder and set them! #Browfection right?! European Wax center used the same products on myself and the models. Safe to say they worked!

They used a simple dry Brow Powder (used in the Milan shades on me) to fill in my brows, which is what they instructed me to do when I need to add some volume to my brows! The Brow Powder comes in 3 shades (Milan, Florence, and Venice) so there’s a powder to fit everyone’s lifestyle!  They finished me off with the Shape IT serum, a simple mascara-like tool that will hold brows in their shape! If it can make my crazy unruly/bushy brows look fabulous, so I’m sure they’ll make yours look fabulous as well! There’s no alcohol or parabens in the serum, so it’s not harmful to you and your brows, while the aloe leaf extract nourishes your brows, making them look incredibly healthy!

I walked away from the station feeling bolder, more confident, and with (shapely and) beautiful brows! That’s one of the missions of European Wax Center, who want you to come in and head back out with smooth and amazing skin! They’ve got the 4 Steps to Gorgeous™ system which they use in store, which I will definitely try when I head into their store near my house!

European Wax Center has been around for 10 years (and counting), so they’re obviously doing something right!?! Here’s to bringing out the beautiful and confident woman within us with the help of a wax! Did I mention that if you’ve never been into one of their stores, you get a complimentary wax?? That’s one of the reasons I’m going so, stay tuned to hear how it turned out!

Now let’s get to the show!!! There were tons of people at the actual event, all super excited to get their brows done, hit up the Milani, Jamberry, and Fiat booths, but also to hear from musical talents like Smithfield, who performed a quick set to us before the show! StyleWatch and Simon Malls sponsored the show. All of the looks I are available from stores in Lenox Mall like Topshop, Bloomingdales, and Macy’s!

Between sets, our presenters gave out some giveaway and awards, and I was actually called up on stage and given one from one of the associate editors, Christina Decker! She had seen me in my boots. You’ll see them later this week! She named me one of the best dressed of the night!! Definitely a highlight for me and I even got a cute new #Clutch! It literally has #clutch stamped on it which I find adorable. I also received a StyleWatch book so I can’t wait to use both of them!

The looks surrounded 3 themes: Feminine Minimalism, 70’s throwback, and 90’s Rocker Chic! Those are all amazing trends that I follow, especially the throwback with the suede and fringe. So I loved seeing them on the runway! Some of my favourites are above, especially that crop sleeve bomber in the picture above! I’m gonna seek that out and get my hands on it ASAP.
