No, sorry to burst your bubbles and probably right the wrong of the “slightly” misleading title, I’m not talking about the movie/book Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m talking about the actual colour, which is one of my winter colour loves. Grey comes in many shades and in my favourite H&M coat, there’s about 25 shades of it. In order to get to the fifty in my Fifty Shades of Grey post title, the other 25 are in my heather grey dress!! Sounds perfect right?

Fifty shades of grey has its perks right? Grey is such a great colour and this coat is perfect for mixing and matching. The check is super simple to work with and it has so many different shades of the colour that anything grey will work. It’s perfect for winter and it provides a (slightly) surprising amount of warmth. Even though my arms are slightly out, it’s a great winter staple and I’ve loved this since I bought it.
Okay it may be weird that I may be wearing a short dress in the middle of winter and without tights nonetheless. This dress is another staple and is actually a great piece for layering. Simplicity at it’s finest and it goes well with a lot of my winter outerwear. I tucked my bangs out of my face and used my hat to keep them out of the way, starting my first outfit of the year off with a hat. Hats are going to be seen more and more on the blog, so get ready for the awesome hats that are coming! I’ve already bought a few new ones, so this is the start of a beautiful year!
