I’ve been having a lot of Spring vibes in the last few days, mostly because it is indeed one of my favourite seasons. Spring is amazing and every year, Pantone creates an amazing set of colours to represent the season. This season’s colours are beyond amazing, and best of all, there’s this uncanny resemblance to my own styles and favourite colours.
Normally, I’m not one for pastels, but the colours this year have me dying!!! I’m really in love with pastels this year (oh my gosh can you hear Miranda Priestley saying “Pastels? In Spring? Groundbreaking…”? That’s all I hear right now), especially lilacs and the colour of the year from Pantone, “Serenity”. I crafted these looks around spring because of the colors and their functionality.
This is a day to night transition that is completely unlike anything you may think that you’d ever see me wear. When has anyone ever seen me in white bottoms? Well with the season change, just keep tabs on my Instagram and you never know what may grace your eyes. Best part, all of these items are from Farfetch, so if you see something above you like, go ahead and take a look around at the rest of their collections! I’ve found a lot of inspiration on the site, so you may as well!!
I had 2 different colours in mind when I created these looks. One in my favourite colour, blue, and the other in a nice pastel lilac! The blue look is based off of the Pantone colour, “Serenity”. “Serenity” in my mind is such a cool, simple colour. It can be expressed in a shirt like this one or through a light denim/chambray shirt! This look is very cool and simple for the spring and if it is hot, you can beat the heat while continuing to embrace the spring colours!
The second look was based off of the Pantone spring pastel, “Lilac Grey”. I’ve been searching for a good lilac grey for ages. Even though this dress may not seem like lilac grey, it has all of the beautiful elements in the details. The flowers off this Giamba dress have the colour of my dreams inside and everything about this more formal look screams spring babe to me! It’s an incredibly girly outfit, but it’s such a spring outfit, that I couldn’t resist!!
I really hope that you all enjoyed this post! I love doing sets like this and finding inspiration in new ways!! Happy spring!! x
