Back to school season is coming everyone. I’m just as sad as you are about it because in just a few short weeks, I’ll be back at university. Don’t get me wrong. I’m excited to see my friends again, but I’ll miss some of the freedoms I have during the summer. There’s one thing that I am excited for…back to school shopping! One thing that I’m shopping for is beauty products, especially ones that don’t break the bank! I’ve found the best brand for that in essence cosmetics at Target, the epitome of high quality, but a price range that won’t break the bank!
I have talked about essence cosmetics in the past, but today, I’ve got a simple, back-to-school makeup look to share all of the glory of the up-and-coming beauty brand! I’m leaving links to all of the essence products that I’m using in the look. So, you can get a feel for what I love using the most! I’m in love with their eyeliners and similar products. So, you’ll probably see that I use those a ton in this tutorial!
First up is my foundation. Foundation is one of the keys to making a look work. Although there isn’t an essence foundation for my skintone, they have other products that work just as well!
Next, I take care of my eyebrows. I’ve been a big fan of the essence cosmetics Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel ($2.99) for months now and it is a major part of my daily routine! I get my brows on fleek in seconds thanks to this amazing product!
Next up are those eyes! I love bringing attention to my eyes. Even if it is just something so small as making sure my eyelashes are extra curled! With a simple look like this one, your eyes can make or break the look and I’m not leaving anything up to chance! essence combines amazing quality and trends for affordable prices. This combo is great for the college or high school student. You don’t have to worry about spending tons of money on beauty products. Then, you can have fun with your makeup and express your inner queen! With the essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen ($2.99), I can easily perfect the pointed wing tips for my eyes with the simple flick of a wrist. For those wanting a pencil version over a liquid, there’s also the essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil ($2.99) that can also do the same job!
I have to create bold and dramatic eyelashes and essence cosmetics has some of the best lash help in the industry! I love carrying my essence cosmetics I Love Extreme Volume mascara ($4.99) wherever I go to help me keep my lashes looking fierce!
After I’ve worked my brows and eyes, there’s only two more pieces of the puzzle, the first being my lips. Once my foundation has had some time to set, I quickly dust some blush from the essence cosmetics Silky Touch Blush ($2.99) that adds a light glimmer to my cheeks! It almost acts as a highlighter, but brings a light colour to my cheeks!
On my lips, I use the essence cosmetics Longlasting Lipstick in 01/Coral Calling ($2.99). The light pink could be a great nude or blending shade and keeps the look incredibly natural! The lips are the very last piece that I use on my face and then I’m done!!
