So as many of you know, I’ve just gotten back from London! While I was in London, I managed to pack in a shoot with my favorite photographer in the city, Victoria Metaxas! We shot the last time I was in the city and this time, we met up for the first of 2 days of shooting in the beautiful Notting Hill. I’ve only popped onto Notting Hill once before and I got to see some of the beautiful houses that the street is known for! I really loved shooting in front of this gorgeous white house with the stunning purple wisteria that I saw all over in London in front! I’m actually quite surprised my white jacket didn’t completely blend in with the walls of the house, but it’s such a stunning location, I couldn’t pass up this opportunity!
Ankle boots are a staple for every person’s wardrobe, fashion girl or not. This is the first pair of ankle boots I’ve owned. Well, it is a true statement and it’s kind of crazy that I never thought to buy a pair before. I bought these Office booties on a whim, with no regrets now! The pairing of the ankle boot is an art form, but one that I’ve never gotten into myself. I’ve basically lived in these since I bought them. Now I know what I’ve been missing out on for all this time!
Ever since I bought these shoes, I haven’t been able to take them off! I wear them with so many different outfits and they are the perfect pair of boots for someone like me. The heel isn’t so high as to I can’t walk in them and honestly, I can walk miles in these ankle boots. I love a good ankle boot because they’re a great day to night shoe and this outfit is no different!
& Other Stories Cotton Bomber Jacket // Topshop Pu Leather Trim Peplum Top (similar) // Topshop Black Leigh Jeans // Office Izzy Buckle Boots
The white bomber is the staple piece of the outfit apart from the boots. I’ve been dying to do a post with this bomber for ages! This jacket is a favourite of mine. Plus, it’s just a great piece, right? The fabric is cotton, so it is a little more breathable than a satin bomber! It’s a great travel piece because it goes with just about ANYTHING. An all-black look underneath it all just makes the whole thing come together. I love the pu trim on the peplum. Personally, I think the trim gives it some extra pizzazz, while also letting the leather look tie into the ankle boot.
I love how the white from the jacket stands out against the white of the beautiful Notting Hill houses. To me, this outfit is the perfect outfit for a sunny day where I want to look nice! Notting Hill is such a beautiful part of London. If you’ve never been, I really do recommend heading over, even if it’s just to see the houses!
