All buckled up is right where I want to be and where I want to belong!! When it’s cold and dreary, I love a nice wool coat to keep me warm! Buckles are a great accessory for any winter coat and a great detail that’s simple yet effective!!! The silver on the buckles of this jacket match the silver from the chains on my hat!! 
Does anyone else feel like winter is a hard time to dress for? I really hate winter dressing because I have such a limited wardrobe for this season. In the spring and summer, there is an amazing variety of colors and patterns that I have to tailor for the winter. I can layer a million pairs of tights underneath a cute outfit, but underneath it all, I’m going to make sure that I’m warm!! No one wants to get sick now do they?? I would probably get so much content done, created, written, and photographed during that time, but sickness is no fun for anyone!! I’m starting to come into my own during the winter months, so here’s to a great winter (even though this one’s almost over, so maybe the next one since this one is almost over).

Finding a good coat is what I really needed to make this winter great. Now, this one, even though it is my mom’s (THANKS MOM), is perfect. The wool is great! The detailing is nothing more than what I need for a cold winter day. With the other details of this outfit, it can do just that!! The top is a great staple. I really needed a great ribbed high neck top, and it’s so simple to pair it with. Everything in this outfit, from the buckles to the rips in the jeans of the knees, fits together, so if anyone needs casual winter inspiration, this is the way to go!
