For Christmas in my family, we always get one big gift. Sometimes it’s split between 2 different gifts, but this year, mine was an Apple Watch. Since the watches came out, I never understood why people would shell out around $250 on a smartwatch. I’ve got Apple everything, yes I am one of those people. I’ve got the laptop, the phone, the tablet, literally, the only thing missing was the watch. I never asked for it, but now that I have it…I understand what I’ve been missing out on! I’ve got 4 super quick reasons why I love this Apple Watch so much and why I actually can recommend it!
1. It Tracks my Activity!
I’ve never been one for a Fitbit. Sorry, not sorry. I’m obsessed with my watch because I can keep track of my activity without thinking about having something without much function on my arm. I love how it tracks my activity and tells me when I need to stand up, which keeps my lazy bum moving. I honestly never think about things like how much I stand up or even just doing 500 calories a day, but the watch keeps me on task.
2. I Will Never Lose My Phone AGAIN!
I’m that person who we all have in our lives who loses everything. Keys, phone, shoes, really it all goes missing at some point. The watch has a key feature that allows me to ping my phone when I need it and it’s within Bluetooth range. This has already come in handy because I was able to figure out where my phone was within a minute.
3. It Reminds Me to Drink Water.
I had to download an app for this, but with the app my Water, I make sure I drink around 2L a day. You don’t think it’s a lot, but in reality, it takes a while to actually get on board with drinking that much water. It’s uncomfortable in the beginning, but it helps me be health conscious. Having an app that reminds me to keep on top of things I normally would forget about is so helpful and one of the best things about having apps on the watch.
4. I Can Stay Up to Date on the Go.
I keep the majority of my appointments, meetings, etc. in a Google calendar which connects to my laptop. Because of the Apple cross-device connectivity, I’m able to see what I have coming up on each day, simply by opening the watch. Staying up to date is a great aspect of the watch and it’s almost like it’s a personal assistant that I can use on the go!

Actually the watch is the only Apple product I don’t own too, so I’m also one of those people. My coworkers have convinced me to go buy one because I can check my texts and respond and my boss won’t know. You’ve definitely convinced me further to get one now!

It definitely sounds like a great watch to have! I love watches, but I’ve never thought of a smartwatch as being important. Maybe I need to reconsider 😉

I’m one of those people you were before. I have everything from Apple, but not the watch as I really haven’t understood what good it could do to have one. Now after having read what it actually does I’m really interested in at least trying one out! I especially liked that water app that reminds you to drink enough fluids. That’s something I easily forget.
Thanks for the review!

This Apple Watch is amazing. I seriously need one for just reminders on drinking water. I use my phone for that right now. lol As much as I love the thought of a such a luxe tracker, I really am looking for one that counts high intensity circuits and weight training though. Still on the hunt. 🙁

I wish someone gave me an Apple Watch! 😀 It sounds amazing and definitely one of those things where you wonder how you ever lived without it kind of things. It’s like having a personal assistant/life coach attached to your wrist haha! Who wouldn’t want that?!
